There is a lot happening at St Mary's on the runup to Christmas. Click the button below for a (hopefully) full and accurate list...
It would be great to have as many as possible to sing some carols at Eastbourne House on the 18th at 11.00am and the Crab and Waltzer at 10.00am on Christmas Eve. Also, if anyone could help with refreshments for the Advent Reflection and Eucharist on 20th December, please speak to Nigel or Claire.

Eco tip of the week
Now could be a good time to check out a sustainable energy supplier.
As we move towards the end of the year, we become acutely aware of the arrival of winter, and this is the time of year when our energy consumption typically peaks.
By replacing polluting coal, gas and oil-fired power with renewables such as wind and solar, we are reducing emissions and supporting those who produce it, until the day arrives when we all produce our own.
Advent Reflections
This year's season of Advent Reflections concludes with a joint Eucharist and Reflection here at St Mary's on Saturday 20th at 11.30am.
Christmas Cards
This year we will not be delivering cards to every house in the parish. Instead, Christmas greetings and information about our services will be available shortly on our website and other social media sites.
We will produce a card in-house for delivery to those who do not have Email access or who are housebound etc. If you know of anyone who would appreciate a Church card, please get in touch with Carole Lax (celax01@gmail.com) who is compiling a list.
Finally there will be a board in Church where individual cards to the whole congregation will be displayed.

We have met with the contractor and are in the process of agreeing a start date for the work.
