SAFEGUARDING

OUR POLICY

We are committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk. We aim to do this in a coordinated and supported manner, following the advice and guidelines issued by the Diocese of Newcastle and the Church of England.

Concerns about children, young people and adults at risk will be diligently and promptly responded to according to these procedures, recognising the sensitivity it may hold for those involved.

You can find the Church of England's national policy by clicking here, as well as this document on promoting a safer church.
