Eco Tip for the Week
Spring 2025 has been the driest spring in over a century, with temperatures above average and rainfall well below. We can help reduce our water consumption in the home, by making small changes ;- Take shorter showers, using a water efficient showerhead. Don’t let the water run while brushing teeth, shaving, washing hands, washing dishes, or washing vegetables. When using the washing machine and dish washer, use with a full load and on an eco setting if possible. Use water from veg prep and cooking to water the garden. Use a watering can rather than a hose in the garden. Lawns are very hardy, don’t need watering during draught conditions, and recover quickly when the rain comes. Generally, become aware of your water usage, which can be tracked with a water meter, and regularly check for and resolve any drips or leaks that occur around the home.
Giving
Have you reviewed your regular giving recently? An increase of just £2.50 per week would make a massive difference in the face of rising costs. Click the button for more information.

Church Windows Update
Another step forward!
We have this week heard that the ‘Faculty’ for the work has been approved by the diocese. This means we have been told that we can go ahead once we’re in a position to do so.
Meanwhile, the donation thermometer has been updated and stands at approximately £47000. Thanks to everyone who has donated so generously.
We’re still waiting to hear about our various grant applications though.
And finally, please support our fundraising events. Details of the choir concert are above, and there are more to come.
