LENT AT ST MARY'S

ABOUT

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, and is the period of six weeks (40 days not including Sundays) leading up to Easter. Lent is observed as a time of fasting and penance by abstaining from festivities, by charitable giving, and by devoting more than the usual time to religious exercises.

On this page you will find links to our Lent course, and other Lent resources. Find out more about Lent here

OUR LENT COURSE 2021

Based on John Pritchard's Book "How to Explain your Faith", this 5 part course challenges us to think about and discuss what we believe. The course is held on Zoom on Sundays at 4pm.

If you missed the beginning of the course but would still like to join in, get in touch.
