Church Windows Update
Thanks to your generosity - and the choir’s wonderful recent concert - we’ve smashed through the £50,000 barrier.
The thermometer will be updated in early August.
This is really great news.
But (there’s always a but…) we’re still a long way from raising the money in full.
As said previously, we’re really struggling to find grants, mainly because we’re not a listed building and the church isn’t a ‘community building’ as such.
...and inflation waits for nobody, so the cost of the windows in increasing.
However, we’re still exploring various avenues, so watch this space.
You can contribute by:
- cheque payable to "St Mary's Monkseaton" or cash (envelopes in church, with Gift Aid slips, into the wall-safe)
- by bank transfer to: Sort Code: 403418, Account: 04502086 Please give your surname as the 'reference'.
Please also email office@stmarysmonkseaton.org.uk if you are able to Gift Aid your donation
