Palm Sunday
This Palm Sunday we will be reading the 'Passion Narrative' from the gospel of Matthew and therefore need volunteers to read parts. Please speak to John, Liz, Nigel or Claire if you would like to have a role in the reading.
For the 10.00am service we will be processing from Whitley Lodge shops, gathering outside Boots for prayer at 09.40 and processing holding palm crosses at 9.45 to begin the service at 10.00. All are welcome to join us on the walk or else wait in church for our arrival.
Holy Week
Following feedback from Holy Week 2025, we are doing things a little differently this year. Journeying from Palm Sunday, we are going to engage with God through Holy Communion using a variety of liturgy and song that moves us back in time from our current place through the church traditions to a closer appreciation of the silence of Gethsemane on Maundy Thursday.
Good Friday will reiterate this jouney with the choir leading a servcie of music and word journeying from Gethsemane to Golgotha followed by a Walk of Witness from Whitley Lodge to St Paul's and ending with quiet reflection and meditation in church followed by and hours silence up to 3pm when we will hear the words 'It is finished'.

At 4pm we start our service of songs, prayers, story and an activity. Parents can stay if they wish or are welcome to drop off children and pick them up at 4.30pm. The service is designed for under 11’s but all are welcome.

Lent Course
Does God speak to us? Our lent course this year will be looking at this very subject. Join us on a Wednesday at 11.15am for food and discussion where we’ll be exploring the ways God has spoken to His people through the bible, and continues to speak to us. The course continues every Wednesday until 1st of April.
Children's Society
Please could box holders bring their boxes to the office for emptying during Lent. Alternatively, phone either us or the office to arrange for your box to be collected. Many thanks for your continued support - it is so valuable. Sue and Rick Channing.
Eco Tip of the Week
The way we travel matters, fast from using the car. Choose modes of travel that have a lighter impact on creation. By not using the car for a week and using alternative modes of transport, we can reduce our carbon footprint, and also improve our own physical and mental health. Walking, cycling, catching a bus or train, allows us to slow down, appreciate our surroundings and enjoy interactions with others.

Windows Update
