Eco Tip of the Week
Be aware of your carbon footprint and how to reduce it. To calculate the carbon footprint, we must multiply our activity data by its specific emissions factor. The total footprint is the sum of emissions across four primary categories; housing, transportation, food and personal consumption. Thankfully, there is help available, in the form of carbon calculator tools. Two links below, both relevant to the UK. Maybe give both a try.
The WWF Calculator is very easy to use and informative. A good starting point if you have never looked at your carbon footprint before. The Open University Calculator is also very easy to use, and looks more in-depth in a greater number of areas.
All Souls’ Service - 1 November
On Sunday 1st November at 4pm we will hold our annual All Souls’ Service. At this service of worship and prayer we will be holding before God the names of those who have died over the last few years.
We will need volunteers to help prepare and serve refreshments. If you can assist, please speak to Nigel or the Office.

St Mary's 100 Club Update
Thank you to the 52 who have joined this year's 100 Club. Can I tempt another 48...?
For £25 a year you are entered into twelve monthly draws with the chance of winning £50, £30 and £20 or in December £100, £50 or £30. To save disappointment perhaps it is better to consider it a donation and enjoy the surprise if you win.
All you need to do is transfer £25 using online banking to:
St Marys 100 Club
Sort Code 20-62-09
Account No. 53160653
Alternatively, drop off a cheque made payable to St Marys 100 Club or even cash. Please post or deliver to church. (Should it be required the letter box is in the north door.) I would appreciate if existing members could send me an email or text confirming payment. If you are a new member, I will need your name and address. A contact email address or phone number would be useful too so that I can confirm receipt and deliver your winnings to your home!
With thanks,
Roger Windass
