You will know by now, that for the time being we aren’t doing the notice sheet as it used to be though we’ll try to keep you updated in emails as much as we can.

Resources and Activities for Children
On the same page of our website we have a Resources for Children and Families section with loads of ideas for helping to explore the Easter story with all ages. If you’re looking for something else to entertain children, then we are also doing a virtual Easter Egg and Easter Bonnet competition via our Facebook page (search for St Marys Monkseaton on Facebook)

As you know our dear friend David Bottrill died last Friday morning, at home. David had been poorly for several weeks and his death was not related to Coronavirus. There will be a service of Committal at Whitley Bay Crematorium but can we remind you that because of coronavirus restrictions only immediate family are permitted to attend. A memorial service will be arranged as soon as we can go back into church. Our thoughts and prayers are with Pat and her family at this time.
APCM
As you will realise we cannot go ahead with the APCM which was scheduled for 26th April and this will be postponed until a later date. However, the APCM Report Booklet is ready and can be sent out to you by email if you let us know that you’d like a copy. The booklet can be viewed now on our website if you click on the ‘News’ tab at the top of our webpage.
