Christmas 2022

My first Christmas at St Mary's has been truly joy filled. A wide array of services from school performances through to Christingle, Carol services, Crib service as well as the traditional Communion services at Midnight and Christmas morning. All have been well attended and filled with the presence of God. I am immensely grateful for all of the support that has enabled these services to happen with such beauty and openness; too many to name here but who have provided leadership, music and singing, cleaning, flowers and decorations, hospitality, organisation and welcome.

With in excess of 400 people coming through the church doors, all experiencing something of the abundant love of God, we now have a year to build on those encounters and continue to walk together through the story of the Good News of Christ and experience new encounters. There will be many opportunities for anyone searching to learn and experience what the Christian faith is all about. I wonder what your role will be in the pilgrimage through 2023?
