Grounds Redevelopment
Rest assured we (the Building and Resources team) have been working hard behind the scenes to make this happen soon. We have asked for three tenders and are meeting with two of the firms to discuss their bids further.
As with everything the prices of materials have rocketed and our original estimate has been superseded. However, Tony Garland has a magic way with bids and has secured us grants towards these costs from various sources. A huge thank you to him for his hard work.
We still need to trim costs somehow so hold us in your prayers as we seek to find a way to bring the plans to fruition. Cheryl.
Ps if you know the whereabouts of a money tree please let me know!
Living in Love and Faith
This Sunday marks the beginning of 'Living in Love and Faith'. For the next 5 weeks we will discuss questions about identity, sexuality, relationships and marriage and how they fit within the bigger picture of the good news of Jesus Christ. Don't worry if you haven't expressed your interest yet. You can still come along: 11:45am on Sunday, in church. The accompanying booklet can be found below.
