Congratulations to Whitley Bay Street Pastors
Whitley Bay Street Pastors have been awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Service. That's the MBE for volunteer groups!
Since WBSP was formed in 2011 many Christians from different traditions and church backgrounds have walked the streets, in all weathers, often until the early hours, serving our local community. Supported by Prayer Pastors, they have chatted to over 91,000 people and helped more than 7,300 who were vulnerable.
Ruth Blake is St Mary’s Representative for WB Street Pastors and is a Prayer Pastor. If you would like to know more about the work of Street Pastors/Prayer Pastors, please let Ruth know by contacting our Parish Office.

If you would like to join in the singing as we move forward, get in touch! You do not have to be able to read music and you may only be available occasionally but we would love to hear from you. Email Carole Lax > if you are interested
