St Mary's is a Church of England church in Tynemouth Deanery in the Diocese of Newcastle. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive church and always appreciate being told how we can improve. In addition to our Sunday and Midweek services, we aim to support our local community with initiatives such as our Toddler group, Holiday Clubs, Youth Club, Craft Group, OWLs group, Pop in Cafe and Memory Cafe. We are privileged to have an excellent non robed choir with a growing junior choir known as ' Young Notes'. Holy Communion is very important to us as is the beginning of the journey in church, baptism (christening). It is also important to us that people find worshipping and learning about God accessible and we provide a wide of array of alternative Sunday afternoon services.
